The most important maintenance item in your engine is the cambelt (also know as timing belt). The cambelt’s job is to keep the camshaft and crank timed as it should be. Over time the cambelt will stretch and as a result the engine timing may get delayed. To avoid nasty surprises, you should have your cambelt checked annually.
